Europe 2018 – Copenhagen Day 3
This morning we bought breakfast fixings at the grocery and coffee at the 7-11. (Yes they have lots of 7-11 shops here.) We had a leisurely breakfast at the apartment, browsed Facebook, and packed our things.
This is a collection of photos of the apartment. Our host is the super for the building. The apartment is included in his compensation and would rent for about $2250 USD.
We spent the day at the National Museum. The museum has an excellent history of the peoples of Denmark from the stone age forward. The exhibit includes many artifacts and lots of commentary in both Danish and English. The rest of the museum houses large collections of things from all over the world organized by various cultures.
After leaving the museum we walked around the area browsing the shops and enjoying the afternoon sun.
We left for the airport about 4:30 pm to catch our 7:50 p.m. flight to Budapest. We had dinner in the waiting area.
The two-hour flight to Budapest on Ryanair was uneventful.
We took the bus to downtown and walked the last few steps to our Airbnb.
The apartment is in a night club area. There were a lot of young people on the streets, so we decided to go out for a beer.
We did a little grocery shopping at the bodega down the street and headed for bed.
