Europe 2018 – Copenhagen Day 1
We started our trip to Europe by driving to Orlando to catch a Norwegian Airlines flight to Copenhagen, Denmark. Our plane was a Boeing 787. The engines are huge.
The windows are electronically dimmed. It’s actually sunny out, but the windows are at full dim.
We made our way to the Metro and rode tot he Norreport stop. The first thing I saw as I came out of the subway was a MacDonald’s … and lots of bicycles.
We walked to our Airbnb, dropped our bags, and headed for the boat landing for the Grand Canal Tour, a 1-hour boat ride around the bay and through a few canals.
Here is a collection of video clips I took on the boat ride.
And a gallery of pictures.
We had dinner at an outdoor cafe along the Nyhavn canal. It was chilly as the sun was setting. The restaurant set out blankets on every chair.
As we walked back to our room, we discovered a real Prada store. (As opposed to the fake one in Valentine, TX.)
Have Fun and Enjoy the trip. We had lots of rain all night to help fill the pond. We leave in the morning and we hope that there are no delays because of the weather. It looks bad for the Panhandle. 140 mph winds, a cat. 4.

Looking forward to daily updates.
